FAQs

  • While our rates for Occupational Therapy & Movement Based Rehabilitation are based on medical aid rates, you will need to settle your account with the practice before claiming back from the medical aid.

If you have a diagnosis that qualifies as a Prescribed Minimum Benefit Condition, the practice may assist in obtaining pre-authorisation from your Medical Aid. If pre-authorisation is granted, the practice will claim directly from the medical aid.

Should finances be a barrier to accessing rehabilitation, a sliding scale is available on request.

Please note that Pilates for Wellness services cannot be claimed from medical aid.

  • I do work with children or teens who are struggling with pain, fatigue or hypermobility. I do not provide Occupational Therapy services for learning related difficulties or for sensory integration. Occupational Therapy is a broad profession and school based OT is not my focus area.

  • Yes! We can work together via telehealth. That is unless you live in the USA, Canada or Australia due to differing telehealth regulations. Please note that I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
