Mentorship for Movement Teachers & Occupational Therapists

The Teacher Support Series

4 Week Group Coaching Programme

Personal & professional development that goes beyond the exercises to equip you with the understanding and skills you need to work meaningfully with people.

The teacher support series is a 4 week group coaching programme including weekly discussion groups and additional reflection prompts, all aimed at helping you build a rewarding and sustainable career as a movement teacher.

Here's what you'll explore, week by week:

  • Week 1 - Your teaching identity (your unique strengths, values and voice)

  • Week 2 - The foundations of teaching (ethics, scope and navigating power dynamics)

  • Week 3 - The relational side (communication skills, collaboration and boundaries)

  • Week 4 - Building a sustainable career (self-care inside & outside the studio)

Spaces are limited to 8 participants for an intimate and supportive environment

Individual Mentorship

For Movement Teachers

There is so much more to teaching movement than knowing the exercises and self-care for someone that supports people for a living needs to consist of more than your own movement practice.

If you are looking for support when it comes to building a sustainable career as a pilates instructor, mentorship can offer personalised guidance.

I provide one-on-one mentorship sessions designed to equip you with the skills to:

  • Cultivate meaningful client relationships

  • Confidently work with complex cases

  • Develop sustainable ways of supporting your own wellbeing

I would love to support you.

Movement Based Occupational Therapy

Movement Based Occupational Therapy combines movement therapies or modalities such as pilates, yoga, or gyrokinesis (amongst others) with occupational therapy practices in order to support the wellbeing of our clients.

Movement Based OT is based on the understanding that movement is an integral part of everyday life. Our relationship with our bodies and our relationship with movement is central to wellbeing as it impacts every aspect of what we do on a daily basis.

If you are an occupational therapist curious about the integration of movement therapies and occupational therapy and would like someone to talk to, you are welcome to book a mentorship session with me.

I started the Movement Based OT Facebook Group so that Occupational Therapists who incorporate movement practices into their OT work could have a place to connect with each other.
