Some of the elements of the work we will do together
Growing Insight
Making sense of your experiences and understanding ways to support your sense of everyday wellbeing. This can include strategies to address pain & fatigue or other symptoms you experience.
Exploring Movement
Movement is a fundamental aspect of just about everything we do. A movement practice supports both physical and mental wellbeing, helping us feel more connected to our bodies and more comfortable in our own skin.
Nurturing Joy
Joy, meaning and purpose are closely tied to what we do on a day to day basis. Find ways to nurture your health so that you can do the things that you want or need to do and the things that bring joy and meaning to life. Return to life.

Chronic Illness Support
Occupational Therapy for Chronic Illness
This is for you if you if you are looking for individualised support for navigating life with a chronic illness.
The aim of therapy is to support your sense of health and well-being. My approach integrates fatigue and pain management strategies, health coaching, mental health support, sustainable movement practices, flare planning, activity modification and adaptive strategies to support you in doing the things that you want or need to be able to do.
I generally recommend about three months of weekly therapy sessions but this does vary for each person.
Rates are based on medical aid rates.
Movement Based Rehabilitation
Movement Based Occupational Therapy & Clinical Pilates
This is for you if you are living with a neurological condition or persistent pain.
This combined occupational therapy and clinical pilates approach is designed to support you as you move through life. We will spend time talking, moving and figuring out ways to address the challenges you are facing. The whole process is collaborative, individualized and evidence-based.
Through our work together you will become more confident in moving more outside of the pilates studio as you return to doing the things you love doing.
I generally recommend between 6 to 12 weeks of weekly therapy sessions but this does vary from person to person.
Rates are based on medical aid rates.
Pilates for Wellness
This is for you if you are curious about how movement can support your sense of everyday wellbeing.
Pilates is a movement practice that places emphasis on mind-body connection. As a system, pilates incorporates both matwork and exercises on specialized equipment.
Pilates is adaptable and accessible meaning that it can be enjoyed by anyone. Sessions are tailored to you and designed to meet you where you are at, helping you to cultivate curiosity and confidence in the way you move.
Please note, although offered by a trained Occupational Therapist who is uniquely qualified to provide assistance, this is a wellness service and not rehabilitation or therapy.
Individual Sessions
Bespoke sessions focused on meeting your movement goals. These sessions incorporate the pilates equipment.

Duet Sessions
A lovely way to move on the mat together with your spouse, a friend or family member.

Getting Started
-
If you have questions about the services I offer or the work that I do.
If you are ready to book a session, you can go ahead! When booking your first session, you will be prompted to answer some questions about your medical history and what you are hoping to get out of our work together.
-
We’ll spend some time talking during this first session. I want to hear your story, understand your perspective, and know what your hopes and goals are either for therapy or for your movement practice. We will also spend some time moving so please wear something that you feel comfortable moving in. If you have any medical reports or scans, please bring these along to this session or email them to me beforehand.
